Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect what we need to quote and run your trip, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to hola@puraroam.com.

Who we are
PuraRoam (https://puraroam.com) arranges private airport transfers and day trips in Costa Rica. For anything about this policy or your data, write to hola@puraroam.com.
What we collect, and why
When you request a quote. The quote form asks for your name, your WhatsApp number and/or email, pickup and destination, date and time, number of passengers, luggage and any special items, your flight number if you have one, whether the trip is one way or round trip, and any notes you add. We collect this to price your trip, to reach you with the quote, and to run the trip if you book it. Without a way to contact you we cannot send a quote.
Where you came from. With each request we record the page you were on and the campaign or referral that brought you (source, medium, campaign, landing page). We use this to understand which of our pages actually help travelers — never to build a profile of you.
How the site is used. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records anonymized session replays and heatmaps, which means your clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on our pages may be recorded; Clarity masks text input by default. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
We do not take payment on this site and we do not ask you to create an account, so we never collect card numbers or passwords here.
Who we share it with
Transport suppliers. If you book, we pass the driver only what is needed to complete your trip: your name, pickup and destination, time, flight number, passenger and luggage count, and a contact number.
Service providers. Our site runs on Vercel, our database is Supabase (hosted in the United States), our domain email runs through Cloudflare, and we reply through WhatsApp (Meta) and email (Google). Those companies process your data on our behalf under their own terms.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is stored and for how long
Quote requests are stored in our database on servers in the United States. We keep them while we are in conversation with you and afterwards as the business record of a trip. If you ask us to delete your data we do so, except where we must keep a record of a completed trip for accounting or legal reasons.
Your choices
Write to hola@puraroam.com and ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will answer from the same address.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser opt-out add-on, and out of Clarity through Microsoft’s opt-out page. If you would rather not use the form at all, message us on WhatsApp instead.
Children
This site is meant for adults booking travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children. When a booking includes children we ask only for age and weight, and only so we can confirm the correct car seat.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we update this page and the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before the new processing starts.
